Calligraphy for Artists
Something slightly different... and not a pen in sight!
Using only pencil and watercolour, come and create an unusual piece of Artwork. Learn a little straightforward lettering, put together a letter or word and an illustration, and produce a very original painting you could put in a mount and frame.
The subject will be "Shells" (which will be provided). All you need to bring are 3 pencils (HB will do, 2B better), a 12" ruler, rubber, masking tape, water pot, your watercolours, watercolour paper and a drawing board if you have one. Everything else will be provided. Enjoy a relaxing day, and if you finish early, learn how to make a "Message in a Box" for Christmas, birthday or celebration of your choice.

‘Those Special Greetings Cards’. A chance to work with Deborah Chisman again. We will learn ways to produce those special cards using wet in wet, hand painting and templates to produce innovative and unusual cards. The coffee break will include a very brief AGM.
