New for 2025
Wednesday Evening Painting Sessions

Wednesdays, 6.45 - 9pm
Pimperne Village Hall

After the success of our short art course before Christmas, BAS is now running a Wednesday evening painting sessions in the Committee room at
Pimperne Village hall. The cost will be £40 for 3 months. There will be no tutor but we hope members will support each other particularly those with less experience. These evening sessions should be ideal for people working in the day who are unable to attend our other meetings. Please come along  and enjoy some time drawing or painting what you like. For further information, please contact Barbara Frost, [email protected].

Our Beginnings...

Formed in 1972 as the 'Blandford Visual Arts Society', the name was
changed three years later to

Blandford Art Society.

Despite the change, the objective was, and still is:-

“ To promote public education in, and appreciation of, the visual arts...
for the promotion, encouragement, and development of talent
of those interested in the visual arts.”
